Magnesium ramming material is made of high-quality corundum as the main raw material, adding a variety of different binders and special properties of micro-powder materials, high temperature resistant binders, anti-cracking agents, anti-seepage agents and other composite materials through fine proportioning and mixing. All special high-grade materials are used, which have better performance in many aspects such as softness, refractoriness, slag resistance, corrosion resistance and thermal shock performance. Therefore, it is determined and guaranteed that the material can be used as a high-quality furnace lining material with stable and excellent performance under harsh or even harsh smelting conditions. It has a series of advantages such as erosion resistance, strong stability, no cracking, strong operability, and high refractoriness.

Magnesium refractory ramming materials for electric arc furnaces are widely used in new furnace linings or as furnace lining repair materials and electric furnace bottom fillers. Converter repair materials can be used as fillers around the water outlet. Magnesium refractory ramming material has good high-temperature volume stability and corrosion resistance, and has good thermal shock resistance.

Application in Arc Furnace:

● Magnesia ramming mass can be used as a new arc furnace lining or as a lining repair material, such as flat furnace bottom repair, converter lining repair, or steel mouth filling material.

● Refractory magnesia ramming mass product is mainly used for electric furnace bottom filling, converter repairing material, refractory ramming mass can be used as filler around the tapping port.

● Magnesium refractory ramming mass tundish is made of magnesium ramming material, refractory ramming mass is used for the working layer of the tundish. The service life after the whole pouring can be about 35 hours, magnesium refractory ramming mass is generally suitable for large tundish.

Arc Furnace Using Precautions:

● Due to the special nature of magnesia refractory ramming mass for Arc furnace, magnesia ramming refractory mass for Arc furnace is forbidden to contact with water to prevent hydration.

● Magnesia ramming mass refractory is forbidden to use magnesia ramming refractory material ,which is agglomerated and of unqualified quality.
