Product Details

Product description:

Magnesium carbon ball and magnesium carbon ball used in steelmaking are mainly used for adjusting slag composition in converter steelmaking. Magnesium carbon ball and slag can react quickly and completely, and play a role in purifying molten steel. The slag formed after magnesium carbon ball increases the viscosity, the melting point is high, and the adhesion of furnace lining brick is strong.

Application:

Magnesium carbon ball and magnesium carbon ball used in steelmaking are mainly used for adjusting slag composition in converter steelmaking. Magnesium carbon ball and slag can react quickly and completely, and play a role in purifying molten steel. The slag viscosity, high melting point and strong adhesion of lining brick can greatly improve the converter life. It can protect the converter and improve the molten iron. In recent years, with the progress of production technology, some steel mills have abandoned the traditional 40mm magnesium carbon ball and replaced it with 10mm or so magnesium carbon ball to accelerate the slag speed and thus improve the steelmaking efficiency. Magnesium carbon ball is a widely used steel slag modification agent with high strength and compressive strength. Magnesium carbon ball is moisture-proof: magnesium carbon ball becomes shortness in water and its strength decreases. The best way is to use waterproof packaging during transportation, so there is no need to worry about leakage due to transportation factors.
